IO-Link

IO-Link contributes to the optimization of your production process by providing communication to the lowest level of the field. It is not a fieldbus but an extension of the development of today's reliable sensor connection technology. IO-link involves a serial bi-directional point-to-point connection for signal transmission and power supply without arbitrary networks and fieldbuses. JUMO has several sensors with IO-link in its product range. With minimal costs, IO-Link technology enables you to call up sensor information, parameterizations and diagnostics to optimally evaluate your plant status.

Digital sensors

Digital sensors are important in the industrial automation. Currently, there are various digital sensors on the market, ranging from sensors with IO-Link technology, PROFIBUS and CAN communication. In addition to IO-Link and CAN sensors, JUMO offers digital sensors for temperature measurement and water treatment (pH and Ci) under the brand JUMO digiLine. The JUMO digiLine is distinguished by its bus connection system. The measurement data and measurement location information (TAG no., etc.) stored in the sensor allow for clear identification and classification of the electrode. Configuration, parameterization and calibration data can be directly viewed via the sensor even after changing the transmitter. JUMO digiLine features a Plug and Play feature and has been successfully and frequently used in the water treatment industry in the Netherlands since 2016.
