To make the start easier and take away the excitement before the first day of work, JUMO has again planned two get-to-know-you days in 2024.

One has now taken place and the next is planned for June. "These events offer future team members and their parents the perfect opportunity to get to know JUMO in person," says Emily Schleicher, Assistant Commercial Training and member of the get-to-know-you day organisation team. The events of the medium-sized company not only aim to eliminate uncertainties, but also to promote exchange between the new and experienced trainees.

JUMO Managing Director Dimitrios Charisiadis welcomed the prospective trainees and their parents and presented the company. Then HR Manager Alexandra Dantmann explained the idea behind the event. While the parents toured the company, a World Café was held for the trainees. Various topics were discussed here, such as expectations of the training programm.

The results of the World Café were presented at the end by the trainers of the family company. The new format of the get-to-know-you day was met with great enthusiasm by all participants.
